What is a Prayer Warrior?

Prayer is a direct line communication to God and a warrior is someone who is experienced in battle. Although the term “prayer warrior” is not found in Scripture, it is a person who is committed to praying for others.

There is a constant daily battle of good and evil every day and because it is a battle, the term Prayer Warrior is appropriate to use. This battle is all around us and many are unaware. This is not a battle between countries fighting over money or land but a spiritual battle. A spiritual battle, where the forces of good and evil are fighting for the souls of this world.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, Ephesians 6:12.

As Christians, 2 Timothy 2:1, we are to stand strong and pray. However, some believers have a unique and special ability to continually pray for the heart and souls of mankind, as well as , the basic daily needs. These people are Prayer Warriors.

To be a Prayer Warrior, you must be engaged in the spiritual battle and fight the good
fight wearing the full Armor of God.

Prayer Warriors develop a heart of God, the heart for prayer, the heart for people, and the heart for Christ’s Church. Continually praying and trusting God to answer each prayer according to His perfect will and His perfect timing. Prayer is not passive. It is on the front lines of a real spiritual battle and is one of the most exciting, interactive thing you can do as a believer. To engage with the forces of heaven, against the forces of this world, and waving a flag of victory for the battle belongs to the Lord who conquers ALL.

Prayer Warriors intercede daily, but just like with anything it takes practice. To get better, a Prayer Warrior must simply pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Never stop praying. All believers are to pray in the Name of Jesus. He is The Christ and we trust in Him for all.

After you pray for a request, click the button and an email will be sent to the person who submitted the prayer request. This email will simple state that someone has prayed for their request. These emails tell that person they are not alone and someone is praying for their request.

Remember, …I tell you: whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my Name, I am there with them. Matthew 18:19-20 (TEV)

There is POWER in His name, the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
