Prayer Bootcamp – Day 1

Thank You and Congratulations!

You are now on the verge of going to bootcamp.  Thank you for participating in this Prayer Bootcamp.  Just like our Nation’s military goes to bootcamp for proper training before battle, this bootcamp is to prepare you for a spiritual battle that is all around us and going on as you read this.  The goal with this 7-day Prayer Bootcamp is to raise up and empower Christians to becomesstrong mighty Prayer Warriors.

“The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”
Psalms 145:18

There really is a spiritual battle all around us and we can not see it.

Since this battle is in a spiritual dimension that is outside our range of perception we need to be prepared, thus this 7-day Bootcamp.  As you go through this take notes if necessary and don’t hesitate to email us any thoughts you may have. (Contact Us)

Important Things First!

If you’re not already, it’s time for you to become a Christian. There is a lot great things that happen when you become a Christian but just like every area of life there will be tests. A Christian is a person who stands up for good, defends the Word of God, tells others about how to protect their souls, and when a Christian dies they are allowed to spend eternity in a place so wonderful, it’s unexplainable. So please, If you are not a Christian, please check out this link before you continue reading and make a decision today.

…You must be born again.” John 3:7.

God answers prays! He answers prayers all the time. Sometimes a person doesn’t even realize he or she is actually praying.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4

Day 1

“To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.”  – Martin Luther

Today, lets discuss:

  • What Is Prayer
  • How Prayer Is Worship

What is Prayer?

Prayer is simply talking to God. Through His son, Jesus, we have the opportunity to communicate with our Heavenly Father directly. Prayer, along with Bible reading, is a form of meditation that brings us closer to our Creator.

What is a Prayer Request?

It is anything you would like prayer for which could be yourself, others, situations and many other needs.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

How is it worship?

Everything, everything, everything… God created everything for a purpose. The trees outside, the birds in the sky, the worms in the ground, even the lights in your house. God created those things to serve a purpose and they do. Every time the tree grows, every time that bird soars, every time that worm digs, it is worship. They are doing what they were created to do and it’s a beautiful thing to think about.

Just like those examples, we too were made for a purpose. Our purpose is to worship our Creator. We do this through our actions in life, our attitude to situations, telling others about the Gospel, and prayer.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalms 139:14

If you feel comfortable, head on over to the Prayer Board. Post a prayer and say a little prayer to God, hoping for the best possible outcome for that person’s request. A Prayer Warrior’s job is to be diligent and continue praying daily. Thank you for being part of this family!
